NZ Bear Hunt is on!
Does your house have a teddy in the window to give children something to look forward to on their neighbourhood walks? You can follow the Facebook page ‘We’re Not Scared – NZ Bear Hunt’.
The SPCA have a wide range of resources for parents to download which can help teach children about various animals and compassion. There are plenty of quizzes and interactive games available. All the resources are educational but are also fun and engaging. Check out their page here!
Some people have put up their festive lights to brighten the mood during the Covid-19 lockdown period. That seemed like quite a lot of work so we have created a colouring-in sketch for a bit of fun and to get our creative juices flowing! So go on, have a go! Upload a photo of your best effort to our Give Wellington Colour post on our Facebook page.
Also, don’t forget to go outside for fresh air and exercise either on your own or with people you are self-isolating with.
You need to keep 2m away from other people at all times and you stay in your local area.
Although it is imporant to keep active, also make time to relax. There are times when you just need to sit down and do nothing – rest the mind and body, watch a movie or get stuck in to a good book.
Stay safe, create fun, we’re all in this together!
